Allergens
Allergies and dietary needs
Please tell us about any allergy or dietary need before you order. We check the ingredients in your order against the allergies you tell us about.
We open in February 2027. Until then, register your interest and we'll email you when we open.
We can't promise a bake is free from allergens
We bake with wheat flour (a cereal containing gluten), eggs, milk, soya and peanuts. Some of the bakes we plan will also contain tree nuts. We take care to prevent cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee that any bake is free from traces of these or any other allergen.
Some ingredients we buy, such as chocolate, carry their own "may contain" warnings for other allergens, including nuts.
Our bakery is a home kitchen that our family also uses. It is cleared, cleaned and sanitised before each baking session, but other foods, which may include nuts, are prepared there at other times.
If we can't make something safely for you, we will tell you and we won't take the order.
Lactose-free milk is still milk. We use lactose-free milk in our sponges, but taking out the lactose does not take out the milk proteins, so it is still a milk allergen. Our bakes also contain butter and other dairy, so they are not lactose-free.
Brands and packs change. We check the label whenever a brand or pack changes. Allergen information is part of the order details we ask you to check before we bake.
Every order is checked. We check the ingredients and decorations for each order against the allergies and dietary needs you have told us about.
With your cake. We give you the allergen information for your order again when you collect it or when we deliver it.
